Ukrainian Seaport City Odessa Hit by Russian Air Strikes

Early in the morning on April 3rd, the Russian army air striked Ukraine’s strategic Black Sea port of Odessa.

According to the Odessa City Council Telegram account, Odessa was attacked from the air and some missiles were shot down by air defense forces. At least three huge columns of black smoke and flames rose into the sky over an industrial zone. It could have been a rocket or missile attack, according to a soldier near the site of the attack.

Odessa has an important strategic position, it has the largest port and naval headquarters in Ukraine.
